Stayed in the Made warung in front of impossibles. In the 90s , with a few friends...5 dollars a night , now a trendy insta hotel for 500 a night....heartbreaking

i blame social media for bad surf etiquette these days. to many people feeling free invites to waves because they see them on youtube then go out and can’t surf/ do the buoy thing / burn you. 80s spots were super packed but it still worked out. these days is clown central

Idk. East coast guy. Lots of places in Cali( not all) in early 70’s: had - abhorrent behavior. If one could post that scene, would look kinda raw.

Not sure if SM is really the cause of dropins ,i dont surf as long as you do, but even 15 years ago i got burned in certain locations and if i would say something, probably i would get a into a fight as well..

Looks pretty good except for all the burning. Belangan was the same. Just not enough waves came through for everyone and all got frustrated! Still looks better than Belangan and definitely friendlier than Ulu's. Frustrated is how I felt today.
