I remember Kelly and Regis, she kept on leaning on him a little too much with snide remark jokes on him that kept on throwing him under the bus. He took it very well. He is a real nice guy who would treat the crew members very well. I met him in person at a performance of mine and he was a real nice 1st class gentleman. Too bad she mistreated him like that.

You know that there is an audio and video track, and that these are spliced and placed one on top of another, right? This is how audio/video in movies and television works. He spoke in a higher pitch because Joe asked him to "speak Spanish, but do it in a "baby voice"." It isn't surprising that this guy's interpretation of a "baby voice," is to raise the pitch of his voice and speak with some sloppiness. That's what I would expect any person who was willing to play along. Don't assume that an actor was hired (along with the A-list superstar "Chris Pratt") when simulating what responses a regular person would do on the spot, for free, and effortlessly would require time, money, and effort. Joe even has an earpiece, so it would be impossible for him to forget his lines. No rehearsal needed. If Impractical Jokers are perfectly capable of creating these moments on the spot, as they have done for 10 seasons, why would they hire people for this bit, which was neither as funny or clever or interesting as many of their other episodes? Have they been hiring actors to mill around the grocery stores and public parks for the last 10 years? That would take thousands of actors. Don't you think we should be able to recognize some of them from other work? In conclusion, that's a bad reason. I'm interested to hear if you have any better reasons to think it's staged, though. 133 people 'liked' the original comment, so what did I miss?

Being stupid and acting smart really makes a fool of people, so your self awareness shows a modicum of objectivity and maturity in your character.
