This just reminds me how fun was doomfist at dps when he had his uppercut and the roofs couldn't kick you out like now. And his kit was better, you could use 2 abilities to engage and one for escaping, also oneshot with your punch was extremely fun. R.I.P the most fun hero... :(

Does anyone here play doomfist on console ? I’m wondering if it’s so hard to spike consistently because the sticks are harder to input a completely straight line on or I just suck.

I play doom on console. It’s really hard to do a lot of his pc techs, especially ones that require you to jump.

@@zeroviews1184 ah okay thank you ! I can barely do them but if there’s a wall at the end of the spine I might be able to stall for 4 seconds 😂. I have yet to be able to cross a rooftop. So most of my movement is just using roofsurfs to extend my distance

both myself and april were originally on console, theyre all possible on controller and stopping in the middle is actually easier on console

@@AveryOW69 a lot of the techs are possible to do, but I’d say console definitely still limits you. You have to take you thumb off your visual direction control thumbstick to press the jump button, which is an issue for quite a few of his techs that require you to flick up into the sky, around a corner, etc. If by stopping in the middle, you mean like hitting the sweet spot for spining, then yeah I get that console would be better for that, we also have more options for movement strafing.
