From bad Transfer to Super transfers with polyamide powder
How to make a super transfer with polyamide
In this video I show the technique, materials and tools that I use to extend the durability of a dark background transfer.
The regular life of a well applied dark background transfer stamping is about 4 or 5 months but with this technique it becomes a very resistant and durable stamping.
Materials:
Polyamide powder
Printer loaded with sublimation inks
Siliconized textile paper
Pair of scissors
White cotton T-shirt
Water soluble spray glue
Iron time and temperature:
165 degrees for 25 seconds and regular pressure
You could also use a manual homemade iron that heats to about 200 degrees and press hard for 5 seconds per area and then rotate all over the place for another minute applying pressure all the time and voila!
Remove the paper cold to prevent the design from being torn off.
