I'm retired from bricklaying after 35 years in the trade and have never seen anything more impressive than this!!

I’m amazed that wet mortar is able to support the central weight of such a low, broad dome! I was dreading a collapse at any second. Such beautiful work!

I've been in construction for 36 years and I've never seen anything like that. That is amazing and absolutely beautiful. I'm an electrician but can do a lot of the other trades including concrete but masonry is one I found to be the hardest. This guy is a magician, I'd be picking up the same brick all day.

I thought I was skilled in making designs using certain styles when cutting during Roof slating but these guys are on another level. Curiously addictive to watch.

I've laid many-a-brick, block, firebrick and stone in my time. I believe the masons that were my mentors were of the finest Old School craftsmen around these parts here in NC. This gentleman is truly a pro! One of the most accurate of cutting his brick with his trowel instead of his hammer, that I've ever seen. Blessed with talent AND some super sticky mud no doubt. Interesting!

My grandpa taught me never chop smaller than a half, so don't use a whole brick and a tiny split piece to make 1 1/4, use 1/2 and 3/4. ([====][=] vs [==][===]) Easier to cut, looks better and has better cohesion.

My uncle was third generation bricklayer, their cement composition is little bit different he told me. You can see the difference still today, there was a devastating earthquake and the houses theyr worked on had minimal damages compared the newly build ones who had huge cracks and falling ceilings etc

Amazing craftsmanship! Not only impressive but a true demonstration of true talent. Being able to cut brick with a trowel is one thing but not using a tape measure or anything other than a brick and trowel to take a 4x8 brick and cut to fit. Bravo! As a journeyman carpenter I have great respect for these guys talents! Shalom

Greetings to Mexican bricklayers from a bricklayer from Russia, Yakutia! Your work is simply magnificent! Respect for real masters! We have our own masonry features here, we lay masonry at extremely low temperatures, -50 Celsius

That was incredible. Hats off to that gentleman. That requires a true mastery of spatial analysis and forethought. He is demonstrating what's called unconscious competence.

Would like to know the mortar mix used. Without a doubt the best brick laying I've seen. I know suction applies but how those brick stay up until the key stone is tapped in is amazing. Hats of to these boys. True artisans!!!!
