The problem in the entire book of Obadiah is Pride & Indifference.What we find is that pride not only breaks our relationship with God, but it also breaks our relationships with each other. What we see in Obadiah is that pride actually leads to indifference. When we start thinking we are the only one that matters, we actually create a rift between us and others, and before long indifference towards people becomes normal.
