I recently got to take a live drop in class with anthony and got a live instruction and scene play with jackal ears. It's tough but extremely helpful for new and veteran improv players. Thank you for your videos.

I loved finding this video! I've been using jackal ears (outward facing) and giraffe ears (inward facing) since I saw this a couple of weeks ago and looked up Nonviolent Conversations to find out more. Todd Stashwick used to teach an exercise where you had two people look at each other and make irrefutable observations about each other (e.g. you have glasses on, your hand is on your hip, you are smiling), and then tag on either "that makes me feel" (about self/giraffe ears) or "that must mean" (about partner/jackal ears). This tip gave me a new shorthand on how to teach this, so thank you! Also, Paul... you had a tip that mentioned finding meaning and used an example of a scene partner coming in saying "Sorry I'm late, I hit a car in the parking lot" and not caving in to talking about the car accident but instead about what that must mean about your partner, like "You are so reckless". I've been talking about that example since I saw it but now I can't find the video (I thought it was tip #177 but I was wrong, although that is in the same vein). Do you know which one I am talking about because I am desperately trying to find it but I've watched too many of your videos to be able to figure out which one it was?!

Jesse - so glad that you're digging the videos and that they are resonating with your experience. The video you're looking for is, I think, #187. Here's a link to make it easy: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aX7VZWh_qbNlhrssi=ck0a8vV9-NSGoVZM Thanks for watching.
