I am retired in SE Asia. There are coconut shells everywhere that are cast aside from vendors selling coconut water. My thought would be to scale up and make larger quantities of raw material from this quality source. Basically use the same process we use to make charred punk wood or char cloth except use a larger retort. Coconut shell charcoal is rather pricey so there could be a great savings.

Nice and simple Video Tutorial. What types of flour can be used? After forming, how long does the drying process take?
@Improv_Projects9 ай бұрын
I’ve used a few different types, mostly wheat but also corn starch, self raising flour and even rice flour once. So long as it has a decent amount of starch (which acts as the binder) it should work well. I dried them for about 2 days before use but that was in hot weather, you can break one in half to see how dry the centre is and obviously the more time the better.
