Hey Chris Via. After watching this video, I had my 14 year old son watch it whos been bowling league for 3 year. He currently has a 158 avg and is a 2 handed right hander. SInce viewing it he's had 2 Two-teen games and started with the front 5 today. Averaging 192 over the last 2 weeks. Now I cant say for sure if his latest success was directly attributed to the video, but I do believe the it contributed immensely. Thanks for the excellent tutorial. I honestly appreciate it.

Thank you so much for the tips! I'm 68 years old and just started our fall league bowling two handed. It's a senior league and no one else in the league is bowling with this style. Your tips on not rotating the shoulders during the release will probably save me from a back injury!

Bowled against this Chris in JTBAs and other youth events in Ohio. Dude has been an absolute stud since we were 16!! Not to mention he’s a super nice guy. Love to see players from my youth out there as adults, teaching the game to future generations.

Thanks for the instructional video Chris! Cool to see how the 2 handed arm swing is broken down. I think folks who are learning need to start on lighter, basic balls until they get the mechanics and good technique developed before moving on to heavier, more complex pieces. Congratulations again on reaching the 20k subs milestone.

This is my second season bowling 2 handed. I bowled 1 handed for almost 20 years before that. I have been making the mistake of releasing over the top of the ball and didn’t know what was causing it. Now I know thank you! This is a game changer.

Thanks Chris for this instructional video. I’m 69, and after not bowling for 30 years have tried 2-handed bowling. It’s not so easy. I would love to see more drills to keep your shoulders back as well as keeping your right hand in the open position. I have a tendency to close it too fast and the ball moves too far to the left. Thanks.

Thanks Chris Via! This video really put in perspective of a two handed bowler like myself. I've been self taught and the one thing I noticed was my body motion, which you have mentioned that it naturally wants to make your arms swing out. But, tonight, I've made the adjustment of keeping my elbow tucked in. To say the least, I'm a 189 avg bowler, tonight proven that I can be in the 200s as I bowled a 624 series. First night after watching this video on replay and watching my own videos as well. You are awesome!

Hey Chris great video. First of all I am a one handed looking to change to 2 handed and this video will give me the perfect starting place. Second observation was the over rotation of your right shoulder. Many one handers do this as well, and this made it very clear about keeping right shoulder back. Thanks

I've been having a lot of issues coming around/over the top of the ball as a 1 hander. In a lesson with Andrew Anderson he said I was closing down my shoulder too quick. I wonder if this is still my issue. I saw you at the super clinic at thunderbowl. Would've been cool to work with you! I was the guy asking how to politely get the talkers to settle down for a few so we could all get work done lol.

Will keeping the elbow in also help generate ball speed? My game is absent of the "hop step" and I'm rev dominant. I'd love to be able to match speed to revs and I feel like that's the biggest hindrance in my game currently. Love the content! I'd choose a Storm Journey.

When a one-hander starts dabbling in two-handed using one-handed equipment t (i.e.: with a thumbhole and a one-hander's layout), should he expect to track over the holes or should the track be roughly the same (i.e.: a couple of inches to the left of the grip line for a right-hander) for a two-handed delivery (assuming it's being done right) as a one-handed delivery regardless of the layout. I'm trying to gain at least something close to a scratch bowler's command of the two-handed game before I start spending $250/ball on equipment that I can actually put into play two-handed...in the meantime, no rule against practicing two-handed with an unused thumbhole, right? Thanks.....great video!
