Some great tips I seem to be able to hit my driver and hybrid, but hitting irons off the grass is near impossible for me at the moment. The other day I think it took me 5 shots to even get it to the green! Some I topped it into the floor others I thought I was starting an earth moving company, never seem to get the happy medium. Keep up the good work cheers.

When I first saw one of your previous videos on the subject of controlling the bottom of your swing, it was a real “lightbulb “ moment for me . Since then, when practising driver, fairway wood and irons/hybrid swings I have been focusing on your main instructional points. I am not ready for the tour yet 😉, but I am improving and I thank you very much for the advice and tips. Keep the great videos coming.

Love your videos. I have been hacking golf for 25 years. Never realized until watching your videos the low point was supposed to be so far in front of the ball. My practice swing is green jacket worthy (in my mind 😊) but when I step up to hit the ball my swing is most of the time like someone else has taken over my swing. How do you get the practice swing to mimic the real swing?

So practical. I struggle with body awareness, and this helps me understand my positioning a lot better. Thanks

Good lesson on how to hit properly using the body. Some may worry about how much they need to think about when hitting. But the thinking should be done when practicing at the range or in an indoor facility where it’s winter. With good practice, muscle memory takes over. When actually playing golf, one may want to visualize what a good shot looks like and feels like. This is not the place to be thinking about what needs to be done in a shot. Just let it fly!

Great advice as always. Trouble is, great golfers like yourself make it look so easy in real-time. The rest of us really benefit from breaking it down, and running through drills slowly. Is there a review of the Stealth coming Ali?

Thanks Ali I am definitely better with irons and struggle with my driver. I have a slightly shallow attack with a slight in to out path 1-3 degrees. With driver it shifts to 5-7 degrees out to in

Does this work with the one length clubs? As I've been looking at getting some.

G'day Ali, can you please explain part of your setup in all your shots where right at the last action you slide the club 1 to 2 inches straight ahead to finish up behind the ball like you are stretching out? Myself and most of my playing partners don't do this. Is there a secret to the setup you are holding back, hahaha?
@AliTaylorGolf2 жыл бұрын
Not really, it's something I've always done. Make sure you set up with the club behind the ball to start, that way you can get your distance from the ball correct.

Hi could you do a video on shoulder tilt back swing/down swing as my pro is telling me to get more shoulder tilt in the back swing as i stand up in the back swing when i do this i say to my mate ive lost it i dont see the ball take off why victor

On the driver portion of this video, why do you have the ball positioned so far forward; off your left toe? Is it to increase the attack angle up?
@mmahybrid2 жыл бұрын
Question for you. As a bigger guy, as in weight, I have issues with getting my weight forward and keeping my upper body behind the ball. The proportion of my weight is distributed more toward my upper body than most golfers. Is there a way to modify my technique to compensate for this? Losing weight is not an option that I choose to explore because of my desires for a muscular build.

Try some balance pads. Could help weight pressure movement.
@johnlatham93782 жыл бұрын
Through realisation the movement back I’m controlling so I turn move on my axis but still can’t achieve the compression of the ball.

Think I asked before….tips on how to hit from a wet fairway. I crush a drive down the middle then hit it fat and come up short 90 percent of the time. I know I have a steep decent angle but still take a one inch deep divot. Once again PLEASE HELP!

You swing so easy and so smooth and yet you get great distance. There has to be something I'm missing......
