Yesterday, I was struggling a lot with a cute, angry girl's expression, and when I figured out the subtle details in the structure of the eyes and mouth, it changed a lot, PD: good video and amazing references, we study the same artist lol

Hey cool stuff! From my experience of traditiopnal oil painting I know that pure black such as ivory black or bone black is a very popular pigment and value, especially in figurative portraiture. Landscape painters on the other hand tend to avoid pure black and switch to a mix of dark blue and brown because of how rare pure black is to be found in natural environments. Great video though, its down to earth and packed with information that is actually interesting to listen and draw to. Keep it up!
