Hey man, loving your content. I’m using the mega minion variant and I’ve been practicing lava for about 2 months now. Reached royal champ last season but didn’t play a whole lot. I do really want to know. What’s the secret to hog 2.6 matchup? I’m decent against Queen Royal pigs, but a good 2.6 player cooks me every time. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any advice appreciated :)

​@@Innvader The old lava decks had lightning, which hard countered 2.6 Countering 2.6 with void is very hard because they will always have something to block the void

i feel like playing lava actually requires to think strategically, unlike most cycle decks where you can do things without a care in the world. Defend for the entire game and make reactive plays all the time

It's so hard for me to leak elixir. The idea of flat out losing the advantage I'm supposed to have from taking better trades bothers me beyond measure. The fact that Lava Hound has to even do this is a testament to how bad the Hound is (assuming you aren't playing it with balloon).

It's probably not a good idea to use lavaloon if you don't have evo zap, because evo zap is just embedded in all lavaloon decks now

He goes lava first play and prays that his opponent's cycle is messed up (i.e. he dosen't have his air counters in hand).. So basically he tries to starting hand people

Why skeleton dragons and not baby dragon?? I've never understood this but baby dragon has better splash, quicker attack speed and is tankier than those skeleton dragons. The only thing they are better in is getting split apart or doing more damage
