Another great video Jeroen, judging from the number of recent videos I thought you must have been getting pretty frequently 👌. Can't agree more about the importance of a strong foreground - without it the sky images start to all become a bit samey.

Hello Jeroen, many thanks for this video and your explanation for composition. It´s always exciting to follow your night trips and to learn from you. And of course your pictures are amazing. Great! 👍🏻 Kind regards Uli

Hi Jeroen. Love those clear skies !! August wasn't great for astro here in the UK. Composition is the toughest part of astro for me. I need to spend more time working a scene before dusk. Thanks for the advice.

We were absurdly lucky with clear skies last month. I've heard from more people in the UK that is was horrible. Hoping for better skies there this month! And yes, composition was very important to me when I was into landscape photography. With astro it has become more and more of an afterthought sometimes. It can really make or break a good night though.

Great tips, Jeroen. I got into astrophotography before I knew anything at all about general photography, composition etc, and I’d say composition was the hardest part to get right. But a few simple tips / structures and the confidence to experiment has definitely helped. Loved the images at the end of the video. 🙌

Thank you Paul! Conposition doesn't have to be great everytime but putting a little thought into it can really help your final result I think. Looking forward to your next video, also from Spain right?

@@nightscapejournals haha, relaxt is more important than I thought for myself also sometimes. I just love how much more 'mindfull' I am under the night sky when there is no stress involved. Curious about your adventure!

@@StarScaperPhoto there’s no better way to de-stress! Unless you’re chasing a moonrise alignment - that can be fairly hectic! 🤣🤣

Nice vid again and i think balance is the main key, because beginners try to get too much of the mw in the frame instead of using a nice balanced image.
