Thank you for this series, Father. Maybe when you have some time, you could give an episode on how to be your own spiritual director since most of us seeking the height of spiritual perfection have no one. There is more to it than spiritual reading. Although the Holy Ghost will not be denied to those who seek a close union with God, His ways are not ours. He is hard to understand. Questions arise when reading spiritual books as well. Most, nearly all, are written for religious, priests, monks and nuns seeking perfection.
