I do not know why the people tend to learn beautiful vocabulary regardless of its complication level. Language is a source of communication and the best communication is the one in which both of the partners completely understand each other (and that is very important in some conditions) so why do you learn complicated vocabulary? It is just because you want to show off or what?
@Guitareal3 жыл бұрын
@@But_Whyyyy in my case it's very important to learn because I have a KZbin channel where I upload music transcriptions and I want to begin to upload video tutorials speaking...and I'm from Argentina. So, my native language is spanish. I need to enrich my vocabulary so I can express myself in a better way. And I always loved to read and learn new words. It's not to pretend. I love the "color" or the words.

@@Guitareal I think learning alternative for "very" is not learning new vocabulary
@Guitareal3 жыл бұрын
@@But_Whyyyy you think "exhausted", "superb", "freezing", "phenomenal" aren't vocabulary? They aren't useful words? Being repetitve it's boring. Especially for the listener. Synonyms for expressions used so often are a very powerful tool. If you don't like to learn different words, man, it's ok then. I don't liked the words "scorching" and "scolding", I don't think I'm going to use them, but it's good for me to know them.

@@Pulang_Diwa it is a place of contrast, so to say. Temperature-wise it's slightly out of those in the video. During winters, mainly the second half of December and up to March it's quite cold, average usually being -35C, and during summers it usually stays close to +30. Culture-wise it's quite interesting. Siberia used to be a khanate way back in history, but also there were native tribes even before the rise of Mongolian Empire. Additionally, in 19th century a lot of Russian Decabrists were sentenced to be sent in Siberia for their attempts at revolution, and who mostly were Russian aristocracy, writers and poets. And there is of course a lot of Soviet remnants left, such as old city buildings and monuments. And, of course, unlike Western Russia, Siberia is not as densly populated, and has a lot of untouched wildreness, mainly taiga forests, and mountains, such as in Altai region. That episode was brilliant. Over the years, I am appalled by the number of short order cooks turned "chef" that really are... burnouts. They ought to do something else, but just never found a spark in life to launch from.

@@gracepientok4134 like, the word "like" is like commonly used as like... fillers by people, right... when they basically can't like, easily come up with uhm... words to say when they're like... you know, mental blocked or something like, uh huh... nervous when uhm... speaking. So.... like, I find it uhm... kind of... annoying sometimes too, you know uhm..., but some people like, just can't refrain from uhm... using, I mean... these fillers, because err... perhaps, they are basically... not yet like, comfortable, you know... from uhm speaking english spontaneously, right? like this reply that uhm... looks like the person typing this ahh...has stroke. *help me*
