You are so good at the wet on wet watercolor technique. I have followed along with a few of your videos but am wondering what type/brand of paper you use for wet on wet? I do my best to use “just enough” water but a lot of times when I’m making a color gradient it feels like the paint is being scraped back and forth and lines appear. Do you think it might be due to the paper or could it be a technique issue?

Galaxy Floral This is late but if you want the best results, you might need to invest a bit more in better watercolours. Not saying it has to be like $100. It could be like $10 and you would get much better results than buying a $5 one.

Speaking as a professional illustrator for the last 30+ years, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the helpful, clear and concise videos you put out & have gladly subbed... I don't pretend to know everything there is, especially on certain subjects I haven't practiced in decades (watercolours!) but I do know you're never too old or experienced to learn new approaches or techniques. This channel must be a goldmine for those just starting out. So - thank you makoccino.
