Improved Controls

I didn't cover the details of the electrical wiring, so check the regulations and laws in your area, and get a registered electrician to do any mains wiring.
The contactor is a Hager ESC225, and the control box is a cheapo one from Amazon.

I've been working around industrial machinery (petfood place, and currently a slaughterhouse), that I'm not comfortable with machines that don't have nice red 'THIS STOPS THINGS' buttons on them.
