Nice improvement. It is great to have a channel that will listen to suggestions, make a video showing the improvements and give credit. Most channels will never show the improvement or wait long enough to show it hoping nobody realizes that it wasn't their idea. Thank you for you honesty and the video.

Thanks, there is always a better way. Some people see it as a weakness to admit others might have a better idea. I see it as a strength.

What a great idea. Looks like some slack in the bolt hole, causing the slight upward movement that may be translating into the small measurement differences.
@WinkysWorkshop3 күн бұрын
Yeah, I had it slightly tighter before I transferred the bolt position with a drill but honestly I dont think is makes mush difference.

Good evening Mark, As others have said, it seems like what we envision isn’t always the best method. I commend you for considering what others have said and being honest enough to revise your project. None of the other channels would do that. I’m excited to see what revisions you have in mind for the tap wrench. BTW, who is the artist that you play as background music? It’s very soothing. Have a good evening my friend.

Thanks Jim. I learn a lot from the comments on my videos. As for the music, its royalty free music free from youtube. I have no idea who creates it but if you look in the description below the video youtube lists the artist.

That really improved things, it’s funny how a little change can improve the results like that. But you were really close to having it right around a thousands to start with or that’s what I thought you had.
@WinkysWorkshop3 күн бұрын
It was fairly good but much more consistent now. Mostly less prone to change when you change pressure on the table crank

The shoulder bolt did the trick. The shoulder turn the bolt into a hard post.
@WinkysWorkshop3 күн бұрын
The other pawl had a shoulder bolt as well although the second one was larger and probably helped. The angle of the pawl made most the pressure on the rod and helped minimize the downward pressure on the bracket also.

lol words hard. neat little stop.

The improved table stop should be more rigid and accurate. I see you changed your pivot bolt to a shoulder bolt which will be much more solid.
@WinkysWorkshop3 күн бұрын
It was a shoulder bolt before but much smaller. Thanks
