I just want to thank you for your videos Sam. I’m a single dad with 2 kids trying to run an SEO company and have been struggling to get serious momentum. Your videos have helped me realize that all the distractions and shiny objects have kept me from focusing like I used to in my 20s before kids. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that your videos have REALLY opened my eyes and helped me a lot. Looking forward to putting the knowledge you share into serious practice in 2019. Cheers!

Sam, we are the same age, but you are a decade ahead in wisdom. A lot of the things you mentioned I was aware of, but just never (or could not) pull the trigger. I've been smoking weed regularly for 10 years (started the day I finished year 12 exams) and finally, after about a hundred attempts QUIT December 31 2018. It's only day 2 but I know in my heart of hearts that I will be weed free in 2019. I know for sure that this will have a cascading effect on my life, as weed has wrecked a lot of opportunities for me in the past decade. Thanks again and I hope you keep dropping jewels.

Prophet and profit are two separate words, but they join together as one with Sam Ovens. I've been addicted to computer games for 20 years straight with almost no interruption, but have been off games for about 2 weeks now since the first time I saw a Sam Ovens video. Also been meditating and jogging daily. I seriously don't really even want to play games anymore. I haven't started a business or made money yet but I already feel a huge difference in who I am. Following the plan he maps out is like getting the pill from the movie Limitless. One multiplier after another, after another... I get it now. I'm 37 and can see it clearly for the first time, it finally makes sense to me how success can happen for anyone who chooses it and puts all the pieces together. Thank you, Sam.

Over a span of 10 years and 3 bad relationships (one person was a hoarder, oh my) I have literally cleansed my home. I got rid of everything that doesn't have any function that is important to me. Turned my wardrobe and visual equipment mobile. It has given me the clarity I wanted. Not that I want to right now but if I were to leave I could literally pack (duffel bag and backpack) and take everything I own with me. It means less procedures, less placements and less visual stimulae to think of - which in turn gives thought scripts a direction towards my core drives (not the bio ones).

The amount of fucking work I've got done the past two days by being off the social platforms (aside from checking in for 20 or 30 mins at the end of the day) is insane. Know it's gonna take consistency to build the habit, but already stoked at the huge impact from these 'subtractions' and taking ownership of when I go to sleep/wake up. Sam's advice has allowed us to dramatically increase our own revenue by focusing on a primary offering and perfecting it. Cut out all the crap and craft a killer process that has laser focus and provides your clients with massive value and ROI. When we stopped focusing on our bottom line and started focusing on the one thing that provided our customers with the MOST value, we were able to get customers faster than we could onboard. Cut the fluff, focus on providing value, and your bottom line will take care of itself!

Addiction? How to know if you're addicted to anything: if during the normal course of an action you would add-on or course change to include the potential addiction before finishing the course of action, that is your red flag that something has control over you and not the other way. It's an easy test. If it gets in the way of, or lures you out of or into adding to, a normal course of action then you know you have an addiction problem. And because the neural pathways are set, the only way to prevent it from happening in the future is by removing the temptation. A small percentage of people can train themselves to have the willpower but by far that is the worst way to manage your brain because it will be taxed with the strain of that willpower. Best solution: remove temptation (if you've discovered that it's an addiction).

I think Costco is truly your friend. I bought 16 pairs of the same underwear, a set of two vegetable Quiches to which I eat a slice for breakfast and a slice for lunch, a package of Fiji Apples for inbetween snacks and a case of Fuji Waters to hydrate all day and night. All to avoid "decision fatigue". I don't have to think about what I'm going to eat. It's already ready for me. And the reason I mention this, is, I was at Target today, in the grocery section, and I saw some grapes, oranges, pears, etc. And I thought to myself, why would I create a CHOICE? People buy too much stuff and then they have to decide which thing they are going to use/eat 3-6 or more times per day. The takeaway? Don't buy a variety of foods. Stick to what you like. Eat it, and keep moving. Avoid VARIETY like the plague. Get unified.

Improvement From Subtraction - Set goal > Change behaviour - Don’t do stupid shit - Look at upside & downside - Priority (1) survival (2) winning - Example (health) - simple solution, gym and healthy - however people take all this complicated stuff focusing on small upside things and ignoring large downsides - Remove stupid shit > maximum gains - Commit to One Thing and remove the rest from the plate - Make a list of stupid shit (big losses) and remove before doing Advanced Things (small gains) > otherwise you’re being an idiot - Compounding things - Instead of New Year Resolution and adding stuff > remove all the shit
