I totally don’t blame non-beatboxer to think this is mixed or using a mic. It’s just how good this is. Everyone is saying but this is only using natural reverb, and IPhone mic. It’s raw 🔥

Taras doesn't like to use effects in his GBB wildcards. His previous wildcard from 2023 didn't use anything either (I recommend to watch it, too), purely from the phone.

I don’t think it’s a case of Taras not liking effects, but the fact that the GBB rules don’t allow for any effects other than some small amounts of reverb etc

I know it’s hard to believe but Tara’s and importer didn’t use special mics or production effects for this. This is raw audio, it’s quite mind boggling. They are using the natural acoustics and reverb of the room. You can hear the echo, the reverb of the room in the song, right from the beginning when Taras is speaking. It doesn’t matter in GBB. GBB is raw audio, it’s about what can you actually produce without effects. What matters is it being raw.

So the audio itself is recorded on phone using the atmosphere as reverb but there is a post mixing done to even out the frequencies.
