Bring a funnel for filling with big jug. Also when overcast the bees will be more irritable.

I have big one in my Amazon cart. You’re completely right. Also, I would prefer not to work bees when it’s cloudy but since I still work full time I have to take what I can get.

you did it right

I’ve learned over the years that you are going to rile the bees up when trying to work hives during a overcast. I always get stung multiple times from even my calm hives when it’s really cloudy and there’s a storm front moving in.

100%. Unfortunately, I still work full time so when I have time to work the bees...the bees must be worked!

Hmm, wouldn't like them coming to get me, if it wasn't an external issue making them so aggressive, I think I'd replace the queen if that kept up for very long. May I recommend a smaller syrup container you don't wana hurt yourself, that looked heavy. Thanks for sharing your time, Blessed Days...

Thank You! I agree. I own smaller jugs but couldn't put my hands on them when I was making syrup. I know where they are now. Also, I have queens ordered but I won't have them until late April. 😞

The sound was great - successful change! Amazing how each hive has a different personality.

I was surprised how well it worked!

you should use med box so you can lift them deep on the bottom

You know, I go back and forth on that. The fact is that the equipment I currently own are deeps.

you should get a large funnel from a car supply store to pour your sugar mixture into.

leave those plastic pieces in your apimaye hive when adding the syrup,k the syrup will flow under and you won't have to rescue bees.
