improving my singing with a straw

Straw phonation is great. Decrease the pressure by making the hole smaller with your finger.The singing straw is great. Humming singing on a v, or lip thrills are examples of svot exercises that increase back pressure in the vocal cords that help with breath control, balance head and chest voice etc.

Yeah some useful tips - never thought of using a straw before (live in a quiet-ish household- so can't rly afford to make much noise)

Is it also an idea to sing with the piano, and at the same time record yourself with a mic and hearing yourself sing in the headphones, so you get immediate audio feedback of yourself?
