Improving the health of prisoners

The ICRC and the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) work together to treat malnourished inmates in Zimbabwe’s prisons.
This work has led to the introduction of a corn soya blend porridge that is produced from raw materials grown on prison farms. The porridge is used to prevent and treat moderate adult malnourishment. This video highlights the impact that this initiative has had on the health of inmates.
