Really great stuff. I am closing on a property in Alabama next week (just a tad excited!). It was an actively managed timber stand 300 acres that has been ignored for the last 10 years or so. I have a date with our extension agent and a forester to start laying out a plan. So I have been a KZbin tsi junkie. I need to learn more about programs to help with cost and manpower. Thanks for sharing your walk-about!

Very cool! Such an exciting experience to go into a new property with the intentions of improving neglected habitat! Good luck and thanks for watching.

Love this information! I want to use a good bit of this information in an upcoming speech I am giving to a wildlife game dinner. Is that okay? Of course I will properly reference this video, Heartland Bow Hunter and Land and Legacy.

How many acres is this
@HeartlandBowhunter8 күн бұрын
In total these units make up a few hundred acres but we’ve done TSI on farms that have around 20 acres of timber. Large or small improvements can be made.

That’s alot of cutting on 300 acres. Nice

I should’ve specified. We didn’t cut all of it. Some of these units were hired out by crews to cut so we didn’t cut all of it. Thankfully the equip program helps fund most of that.
