Getting crisp audio is crucial for any video production, I've got a few tips to walk you through processing your dialogue for the best results, and everything is free! It just takes some time to learn.
If you're on a really tight budget and need your first mic, grab a cheap lav like this: amzn.to/44v9w3T
Other mics used
Deity V-Mic D3: amzn.to/49UhfK1
Rode NT1a: amzn.to/4bfHaga

7 minutes in the video, and this video has already helped me so much. Even though I am on Android 11 phone, I can even do these on capcut! Thank you 😀

Yeah I think Capcut can do most of this? I need to have a proper look at it at some point

Ryan, I watched your video earlier in the week about killing a youtube channel. I think in that video you mention that people came to your channel for audio. My channel has had substantial improvement because of some of your older videos. Very very good. You can tell by comparing some of my earlier videos to my more current ones. I still struggle with audio some however. This is by far the most helpful video to explain the effect of each range of frequencies. I’ll give it a try in some of my next videos. Thank you and I am excited that you are back. Keep it up.

An other Interesting video :) Although now I'm an unusual KZbinr and never talk in my videos 😀You have probably understood that English is not my main language :) So I feel that I get a wider distribution with text And easier to change if something is wrong 😀 But something I would like to learn to improve is being able to isolate individual sounds. An example is on an older microphone I had, A cable broke on it so I occasionally got a typical electric error sound in some videos

Hi Ryan, great content. Video request: would it be possible that you explain to us how to wear a lavalier outdoors ? I have tried and seen a few videos including MarkusPix but I can't get it to work. Full of cloth wrestling noises. And it obviously needs wind protection. I have a Sennheiser ME4. Impossible. So I always use my MKH 416 (not as a lavalier ha ha ha)
@RyanGreen

Haha, enjoyed the image of someone wearing an MKH416 I’ll look into it a bit more, but location sound is not my area of expertise quite as much so I’d want to do some pretty thorough testing before I made a tutorial on that. Does MarkusPix use the tape triangles? That’s the method I’ve generally used as well. If that’s not working for you: - are you making sure you shirt is sticking to the tape as well? That’s what stops it from rubbing and rustling. - it is more difficult with a larger lav mic, I don’t believe the ME4 is particularly small? There’s more surface area to make contact with noisey clothes! That’s why when a microphone needs to be hidden people tend to spend up on really compact lav mics

Thank you of your prompt response. Yes MarkusPix is using the tape triangles and so am I. But you hit the point. Yes the ME4 is gigantic. I bought it because it is a cardioid. Ok I am stupid, need to get a smaller lav. Any suggestions?
@RyanGreen
@RyanGreen 3 ай бұрын
@@stephanferdinand that’s a bit too harsh haha, was there a particular reason you preferred cardioid? Again there are probably other people who can make better recommendations on more high end lavs! I’d start with looking into the countryman stuff, but it’s not cheap

@@RyanGreen I went with a cardioid to reduce ambient noice. No worries Ryan, you already pointed me in the right direction and I appreciate that. Keep it up your channel is great !
