Yesterday I raised the pitch on my own Blüthner upright. It was at 436 and I raised it to 442, expecting it to fall 2hz to 440, but it fell only 1hz so now it's at 441. I could've tuned it one hertz down to 440, but it had settled so well on 441 so I tuned it there. Now lowest bass strings sound pretty good. Tuning was pretty easy, however temperament is always a bit tricky with this piano. This is still the only straight-strung piano I've tuned.
