I was just telling from personal experience. In my family and friends all guys including myself are bad dancers. All women dance well. In general women are better at dancing. Nothing sexist, there are things in general men are good at, and things women are good at, it's what it is.

Totally agree - you could not do these moves at that level and as smoothly if the lead was a beginner. He is a great dancer. Other than set historic routines or demos, all swing dance is improv with constantly changing dance partners. Swing dancers are used to "reading" their partner to create a dance together, and they are doing a great job.
