Here's a few tips; 1. Since the point hope update, shades will NOT write in the book while you're in the room. They also won't blow out fire sources when someone's in the room. 2. When a ghost moves rooms, the previous room will slowly warm up. That's why (when it's not twins) you'll get low temperatures in 2 different rooms. Plus the room it moved to will slowly go down in temps. 3. Non-Ghost Writing ghosts will close the book after throwing it. 4. What's your favorite room doesn't work anymore. Instead ask "whERe aRE YoU" and it will give you its current location not necessarily its room.

Skibidi appears to have started with a viral song in 2018 by a Russian musician that can only be described as seriously weird, and likely stoned out of his mind when he came up with the song. The word has no actual meaning in Russian or any other language, but like "Crazy Frog" it was catchy, so it went viral despite it lacking any redeeming graces. This resulted in it being adopted by modern youth who use the word skibidi as a slang for cool. Due to its popularity, a russ... erm Georgian animator used it as an idea for a video series that like the original song lacked any semblance of sanity, thus appealed to the youth... I fear for the future of the human race... honestly I remember a lot of things that as a kid where cool and funny that today would leave me feeling like several brain cells died just from participating in the weirdness. The 2018 song makes "What does the fox say" feel like an operatic masterpiece musically, BUT it did have a reasonable driving beat. The skibidi toilet videos are an animation series that I personally can not see any appeal in, but as best I can tell, the target audience is stoned teenagers, and kids who giggle at toilet humor. It is afterall popularized among Generation Alpha... a generation literally JUST starting to enter puberty.

I saw a lot of people in your chat saying this, but with Onryos, even if three firelights have been blown out, if there are more lit candles in the vicinity, it will stop the ghost from hunting. The firelights will also override a crucifix in the area, so if you suspect it’s an Onryo, keep watch on the crucifixes and also your igniter. They can blow that out too.

Impulse, I really gotta say, as a very frequent vod watcher who’s watched literally every GIGS and JITS stream, I really dislike the new scrolling chat on the screen. Skizz used to have it on his, and I often would click off because I was just so distracted from the actual gameplay. It’s especially apparent when you’re playing a game with such a dark screen. If it was added to popular demand, oh well I’ll deal with it! But if you’re just trying it out, wanted to stick my opinion in. As always though! Love love love you guys playing Phasmo! I really wish the option was there kind of like twitch where you can choose to see chat or not (even though I hate twitch interface, they did get that right!) but that is virtually impossible on vods uploaded to youtube.

it's possible the Mare didn't hunt during the Spirit timer because the lights were on in the room (Grian was flicking them) (and it was also next to Impulse throwing stuff). unlikely, because insanity means their sanity was low, but possible. a Mare can hunt in a dark room at 60% sanity, but in a room with the lights on it can hunt only at 40% sanity. still unlucky that it was right as the Spirit timer ended!

The 3 flames to hunt thing is absolutely true, but flames actually do sort of act as a crucifix with an onryo! However, the ghost has to be within 4 meters of the flame to use it as a crucifix, so if the candle is placed directly onto the crucifix, that will normally mean the ghost has to blow it out before using the crucifix. Unfortunately for the GIGS crew, the tier 3 crucifix has a range of 5 meters, so there's a 1 meter radius the ghost can try to initiate a hunt which will activate the crucifix and not blow out the flame. This is worse if Grian didn't place the candle on top of the cruci (not sure I ever saw where he put it). Edit: I see they covered this! But it's not the worst thing to reiterate. It was just unlucky, really.

Skibidi toilet is basically just a show where all the characters are heads in a toilet or something like that, it’s meant to be ‘scary’ or something, and it’s kinda weird, I don’t personally watch it but I know a lot of young young kids do.

The onryo test doesnt work when you relight candles when there is another alight. Mostly imp has more than one candle going at once. Have three candles and relight none, or have one candle and relight it 3 times. The candles act like crucifixes, when it blows it out for the third time to start the hunt, with another candle lit it counteracts the test. At least thats my understanding

That’s not exact. The first Onryo hunted because of clashing Tier 3 ranges for the crucifix and firelight, while the second Onryo still hunted after the third light went out

The photos should work based on how many of the items you have. 3 salts = 3 salt photos, 4 candles = 4 candle photos etc.

If Impulse goes for a solo Point Hope stream, it would be cool if he made a goal of getting the Lighthouse Keeper badge, if he doesn’t already have it. It’s a bit of a grind, so I don’t see it becoming a GIGS stream, but it would be another badge for him to show off to the rest of the crew lol

Onryos can hunt if there is a flame, if there is a fourth flame when it blows the first flame out, then it cancels it out, otherwise it will hunt/use a cruci. It can still use a cruci outside of that
