agree with gem, we dont really have carpet here. my house had some when we moved in but we immediately ripped it out. my grandparents house is very hold so their basement still has carpet, but its a very weird ceiling layout, i have to duck completely in half to walk. my house has 8 foot ceilings almost everywhere, which i can touch no problem .

LOL Sorry but carpets are bomb! I had to chime in on this haha! There's nothing like flopping on the nice cozy plush carpet in front of the TV. I do not understand why people don't have carpet in their homes anymore. Houses without carpet feel both aesthetically and literally "cold" and uncomfortable. I feel like not having carpet in your home just feels lazy, the only reason I have heard of people not liking carpet is because "laminate" (cheap faux wood) flooring is supposedly easier to clean. In the areas where we have tile flooring it's a bigger pain to clean the tile flooring than it is to vacuum the carpeted areas.
