i heard this song i think 12 years ago in a random speedpaint and over time i forgot about it until i suddenly remembered it again in 2021/2022 but i couldn't remember enough of the song to ever find it. i would occasionally pick up the search again for a couple days only to give up again and i would do that intermittently over the next couple years until now here in late 2024 while stoned i manage to remember just enough of the song that i have finally found it. bless

What do you do when a song makes you feel something you've never felt before? It's like I'm meant for something far greater, but I can't figure out what that is...

This song sounds so...otherworldy. Like it's being sung and played by aliens. Small humanoid ones or tiny living robots.

Actually there are many ways to tell someone you love/like them.^^ Ai is love. Suki means like. daisuki mean I like you which you would use to friends.

To Hannah Rite: Yes, it was Keith, but the sex is only hinted at. When Keith confronts the young man who has discovered the secret of the house, he appears in pajama bottoms with no shirt, and Ai is asleep in bed looking like she's been satisfied. I've read reviews that say that this anime has perverse sexual references in it, but I just don't see it. There's a lot of fan service in it (girls losing their clothes), but there are actually no sex scenes at all. And I found the story to be moving and deep (but, I'm a sucker for that kind of thing!). --F Brep

so in Japanese love is Ai but "I love/like you" is daisuki? I thought I heard there was no word in Japanese for love...
@icemanofks11 жыл бұрын
Clarification please... In every anime that I've seen, "daisuke" used in a confession scene means "I really like you, be my recognized significant other". The phrase "Suki desu" (generally heard as "S'ki des") means "I love you". I've never heard the word "Ai" in this context...can you elaborate?
@13gan3 жыл бұрын
I know this reply is very very late but anyway, the Japanese word for love is 恋愛 (renai) with each kanji in that word can be used to mean love, just different nuance. Now, they don't usually use it in normal conversation except for literary, poetic (sometimes humourous) and serious direct matter. Basically, they see the weight behind that word to be very heavy, they try their best to avoid using it in order not to sound either pompous or joking, which is why they use 好き (suki) which mean "like" to also mean "love". This is because the spoken Japanese is a context heavy language, the intention can easily be mistaken by the nuance that the word bring. Basically, to use the formal world would sound like you're reciting a Shakespeare's poem to express your love, which would easily lead to misunderstanding on either you're totally smitten or are actually mocking the girl instead along with the social awkwardness that such a situation bring. At least with suki, that level of embarrassment is lesser due to it not being the direct word to mean love. This partly come from the Japanese social custom to avoid confrontational situation and prefer to take roundabout way to convey their message, if they can to avoid hurting the feeling of others.

Alan Nikolai Stratmann this is a dependent on context. In Russia "suki" is a bad word)) But in Japan, its ok))
