I really enjoyed this. As 90% of young men in India whose car budgets are usually within 5 - 15L, this is so relatable and refreshing to see that someone who probably CAN afford buy a big spanking, fancy, obscene luxury dump of a car has instead matured, evolved and developed a more sensible and genuine thirst for car ownership, discovery of the machine and exploration. You can feel that he is honest with himself and not looking to make flashy statements but has found that enthusiast vibe and the keen sense for learning, caring for the car. Its really good to see his attention for small details and this kind of DIY pride is endearing. This is a great example of what true "aspirational value" ought to look like. He made me feel that, "hey I can and should do at least this much for my car". I just wish the video would have gone a little deeper rather than kind of abruptly cutting him short. (slow clap for the producer who made that call lol) - please do another one and don't be afraid to dive deeper next time guys!

Need more genuine driving enthusiasts like Imran. Hands on under the hood is such an inspiring thing. With such attention to detail i'm sure he can do wonders as a director/ script writer. I happen to have this same car. 2016 model so 1.2L 4cyl, no mods (yet). Perfect sleeper if the badging is removed. On the long pune - bengaluru highway, this car wasn't backing down to a highly aggressively driven Q5. Even at 180-190 it has got an exceptional level of stability. it's an absolute gem.

Having driven multiple cars, i 101% agree with Imran. No car can beat VW Polo GT any day under 20L segment till today. The compact size, handling and engine power is still unparallel today. Recently, the only car which is on par with VW GT is VW Virtus.

There is a correction guys, Those Dome Reading lights are from Passat W8 / Caddy. Yes, Jetta has it, but those are different, they are widely used in Golf 6 MK6 and Passat B6. I just know it Bcz of I sourced it for few friends and myself.

This generation of the Polo is still on sale (& manufactured) in South Africa, as the Polo Vivo. It's sold alongside the current gen Polo, & is positioned below it, as an entry level and more affordable VW. Infact South Africa, is the sole manufacturer of all right hand drive Polo's in the world, currently. So I'm surprised that India being a right hand drive market like ours, didn't import the Polo from us.
