١ فَتَحْتُ بَابَ البَيْتِ الجَدِيدَ ٢ فَتَحْتُ بَابَ البَيْتِ الجَدِيدِ So, if I get it right. The first sentence means : I opened the new door of the house. The second: I opened the door of the new house. Am I right?

As-salaam aleykum ya ustaadh Imran. May Allah SWT bless the work of your hand. I happen to come across many Arabic words and sentences that are written without fatha, damma nor kasra, in such scenario what guides one in knowing how to recite? Jazakallahu kheir

That will become apparent when one learns more grammar and vocabulary. The important thing is to continue building knowledge in order to reach that destination, insha Allah. For example, we have covered the nominative, accusative and genitive case endings, keep revising those and there will be more to come insha Allah!

Keep watching the videos and, more importantly, learn vocabulary! Just two or three words a day will make a big difference. Good luck with your studies.

I have always thought arabic as a precise language. I mean, at 8:00, there is no certainty in the meaning of the sentence that may be interpretted for both ways.
