Minor correction for anyone typing in the first link, the second character in ko4bb is actually alphabetical "O," not the number zero. It's an amateur radio call sign. Thanks for providing all these links!

In case nomenclature is different in the US, the image at 6:42 is a 'wiring diagram' not a schematic. A schematic is a 'block diagram', and does not show electrical/electronic components
@petermenningen3382 жыл бұрын
Going back to the 60's in US the term schematic as used by SAMS (the largest publisher of equipment documents for repair shops) published their aids as a stack of documents in a folder it contained not only the bock diagram, but a full list of parts used as well as the actual wiring diagrams and instructions. A lot of them had scope traces for troubleshooting and tuning.
@Mr.Robert1 Жыл бұрын
I haven't used the schematic in 20 years. Products are replaceable now that everything is made in China and or boards are replaceable what's the schematic for I don't need one anymore

HP should be boycott by consumers because it has such a mean policy against consumers for example their all in one inkjet printer will not scan or fax if printer ink is low. While Brother for example, their rival printers can still be used as scanner and fax if you don't want to buy ink for printer.
