I want to test the bandwidth of scope probes. This is usually specified as a bandwidth and rise time. I need a signal to measure with a rise time better than the probe. Less and 1 nanosecond. I show how I did that and then measure several probes with strange results.
Update from viewer comments:
1. I rebuilt the circuit with all SMD parts, got rise times to ~890ps
2. wanted square wave not pulse, video coming in the future
3. use a network analyzer, video coming in the future
