The week after you throw it away you'll find a use for it. If you keep it you'll never find a use for it. LOL.

The third option is that you keep it. A year from now you have the perfect use for it and can't remember where you put it. After searching for days, you give up and order one. A week after the new one arrives, while searching for something else you find the original device.

I gather the big inductor is for current smoothing due to the PWM? (BTW, these kinds of videos are just fine, there's always something to learn...)

If you dont have any 24v fans you can wire 2 12v fans in series in a pinch.

Maybe build a T24 (24V) soldering iron controller. Invert the output logic and increase the temperature range.

Thanks for your interesting videos. BUT, do you really have to release one every day? I don't have time to watch them that often. For me it is ok to have one good episode (20-30 minutes) per week. Then I can look forward and reserve time for it. Now it is like forced feeding where I don't get time to finnish the last one before there is a new comming. The last two weeks I have ignored every new video due to lack of time. Then I might miss interesting stuff.
