My family does turkey for Christmas but I think what you eat just depends on your household. For example, even though there's turkey my family is from the Caribbean so we also usually have roast pork shoulder as an alternative.

Not in my house. We tend to have lamb at easter, and we've taken to having a non traditional Christmas meal like Mexican or steak. (We're British so don't celebrate thanksgiving)
