Hi!! I'm stuck, I have mocks next week so please could you answer a question for me :) The question is, in Haiti earthquake the response was very bad despite the huge amount of help it got from other country's... Why was it so bad still? Thank you!

So despite the aid from other countries, there was poor coordination and information sharing which could have helped to allocate this aid. Also by relying on other countries for aid or NGOs, urgent time is lost and more people are affected. A country of higher income with its own aid system recovers better and experiences fewer casualties as aid is quickly rolled out and secondary impacts are reduced. Hope that helps
