DJI Action 4 Bike Mount Comparison: Handlebar vs Chest Strap

On the chest mount I think you should have the camera pointed up a little bit higher

I see you are having the same audio issue as me using the bike mount. That clicking noise you are hearing during the bike mount video is from the camera not fitting properly on the mount. The camera to mount/magnetic part has to much of a gap and is causing the noise. I put a small piece of plastic bag folded a couple of times between the magnetic base and the camera, The noise went away completely.

Cool and informative, thank you for sharing! Have you ever tried using a backpack strap mount with action 4? I’ve been using it with osmo pocket 1 and curious how biking footage would look like from that angle but on a camera with a wider angle lens

I like mounting my camera on the stem, so you get a little of both angles. The drawback is that is very difficult to find a mount that fits it.

I think I'll end up buying a neck mount based on seeing how the chest strap looked. I assume they'd be similar and it's easier to take on and off. Thank you for the comparison!

Thanks for sharing, Aki! The footage looks incredible. I thought it mounted on the handlebars looked fantastic and wasn't shaky at all. Then with the chest mount there's just a little more smoothness. Both look great. I was outbid on the osmo action 1 I was trying to get. I had been increasing the bid and was winning then the other person outbid me exactly 3 seconds before the auction ended! The action 4 looks so so so good but still out of my price range unfortunately. Maybe I'll just have to splurge but I'm not okay spending that money when I'm not working. Thanks for the video. ❤❤
