I've heard the american levels get a bad rap, but I think they work wonders to show the contrast between two different cultures. this is perhaps one of the few times when an executive mandated level actually benefitted the game

Those saying that this doesn't fit, please realize that this is a different radio station. This is because, first, Jet Set Radio is broadcasted in Tokyo-To while this isn't in Tokyo-To. Also, when you start the level, you don't hear the "JET SET RADIOOO!", while DJ Professor K plays funky music, this station plays music like this.

This was only a problem with JSR HD. JSR HD only had one melody with Dragula in it, and it would only play on tag or die. Because JSR HD brought in songs from the PAL version of JSR, they made up a bunch of new melodies for HD. None of the OG US stage melodies from PAL or NTSC JSR returned in HD. In NTSC JSR, Dragula was in 4 melodies and was always guaranteed to be heard in tag or die.

This sort of sounds like how a Prodigy remix of Dragula would play out. Don't know why I'm getting that vibe but I can't help but feel it.

First time I heard this song, was in the game Sled Storm in Playstation 1, and next in Jet Set Radio on Dreamcast! Many people dont know, but this song first was made and appear in the game Sled Storm, and after that in Jet Set Radio. This remix is just awsome!

I loved this version and stage in the game. It fit the mood cause it was a timed stage.

It does. If you know, Grind City and Grind Square are in America. The rest of the game is in Toukyou. This is one of the songs that plays during Grind City (the first level of Chapter 2).

Update: Just played through Jet Set Radio on Steam! Absolute classic! The gameplay is unique and fun, but the movement’s a little clunky (tagging is iconic, but I don’t want to mangle my left thumb in the quick time events) 🎃but mastering it feels SOOOOO satisfying! The colors and cel-shading contrast well together for a vibrant visual style.

Matrix Anyone? This music was on the 1st Matrix movie. Probably in other movie as well before Matrix came about. Also, don't know why but Dracula can be a nice fit in the song. I really kept thinking that they was saying that.

Yeah, it was playing in the scene where Neo first met Trinity in person. You know something hilarious? For at least a decade, I loved this song, but never for the life of me could find it. Finally, I was playing the original Jet Set Radio, just derping around in Grind City as a Noise Tank, and I heard this song and I was like "ZOMFG NO FREAKING WAY!!!!!!!!!"
