by the way i was just thinking about it and i came to the conclusion that your correct about mihawk being controlled by his sword because when zoro was fighting mihawks seraphim zoro says " you're closer to human than mihawk" to mihawks seraphim implying that 1 mihawk doesn't seem human to him and 2nd it confirms your point because the seraphim are made by using the DNA of the former warlords and it will also make a direct copy of there personality as we see in boa because that same love for luffy is still present, But unfortunately or should i say fortunately for this theory the only thing vegapunk cant copy is cursed energy in a blade, he may have made it look similar but it doesn't have the same cursed energy which is why we can see a lot more emotion. and also when zoro said "you're closer to human than mihawk" to the seraphim we can clearly see S-hawk get mad at what zoro said which could've triggered something in mihawks normal self before getting the blade. which in my opinion is probably that mihawk had either had an high self-esteem or some type of moral or goal before being taken over that reminds him of failure.

I don't think that Imu is Lily. For instance, there's an info that Imu was one of the 20 who created the World Government, alongside Lily. Both their names were recorded in history separately. It's not like there was Lily and then someone named Imu appeared, Imu was there from the start. Also the fact that Lily scattered poneglyphs around the world and then dissappeared, made me think of the following theory: Lily was an Ope-Ope devil fruit user. This also explains why she dissappeared, and why Imu is immortal, and why she was able to hide poneglyphs in different places, and also why there's a record of Ope-Ope df ability to make someone immortal. I don't why she did it, she maybe had her reasons, but i think that's sound logical a bit. Though of course the real Imu could be consumed by his own fruit as well, making him less of a human and more of somekind of god like entity. Who knows.

Man I like this theory, I was thinking about this as well thinking if lili knew joyboy and they knew each other like luffy and vivi do but she ate a df that was inherently evil and turned her into this dark figure forcing joyboy to fight her or something like that (if imu is lili ofc).

Yes exactly the idea that lili has been corrupted in some way is very intriguing. I’d actually prefer that than Imu always being any evil person from the start. It adds a level of complexity to how luffy should defeat Imu/Lili. Also considering Sanji’s views on hitting woman.

That seems like a really literal interpretation of “a person was responsible for the poneglyphs being scattered” It seems to me like there are a lot of in universe ways a lot of poneglyphs could have been scattered in different directions all at once to where the fledgling WG wouldn’t be able to get ALL of them at once, even just having them loaded up on a ton of different ships would seem a reasonable solution given that the WG has already recovered so MANY of them based on what we’ve learned. I’m not saying it wasn’t teleportation but saying that it’s “probably” how they were scattered seems like a bit of a leap to me

Kinda like Black Clover anime how asta has a devil living inside of him which he draws his power from and the more he learns he awakens more power in the process awakening the ability for the devil and the user to be equal individuals in one body with all the power of the devil and the “possessed” user can eat a fruit gaining a power for themselves. Explains how Blackbeard could have 2 powers. Setting aside the topic of Blackbeard’s powers being darkness and light in the same body and it was 2 fruits he got the power from but in theory the dark fruit Blackbeard ate could have originally just been the power originally of the devil that possesses him so he really only gained one power and gave the devil its power back. Since they share the power he has the ability to use 2 powers. Why oda gave a light and dark fruit to Blackbeard could be something along the lines of him being the next false god trying to control the powers of both dark and light to gain complete control over all almost like imu has complete control over all darkness and everyone in the world he just wants to control both sides gaining “ultimate control” over “all power”… actually this calls all the way back to when luffy and zoro first met Blackbeard and told nami not “him” but “them” referring to Blackbeard as 2 entities because his devil soul and human soul inhabit the same body and switch between which is in control of the body

Wow amazing analysis! Yes i believe the idea of multiple souls and devils is the answer for most mysterious powers in one piece we have yet to understand. The it comes down to this: What cursed object does Blackbeard have that he originally got the devil fruit from. If we consider the fact that xebec had a sword and according to his personality it’s not far fetched to assume the sword was cursed. Or even more crazy is maybe Xebec imbued his own soul in that sword and somehow Blackbeard somehow got his hand on it. Or maybe even his guns which he has 3 of for maybe each devil. The possibilities are endless and i’m surprised more theorist haven’t explored more lore on cursed swords and objects in One Piece.

I like this, I have my own theory on Imu that overlaps with this. Lili, and Joyboy are the same person. Imu killed and stole Joyboys body, through some method of possession whether it be the Op Op body swapping ability or something else, and became the false Sun God. When Orochi died in Wano he was in his Zoan form and the body didn't revert back to human, indicating that devil fruits have a lasting effect on the body even after death and the fruits reincarnation. With the dead body being possessed it allows two people to have the same devil fruit powers. It adds narrative weight to why the Five Elders wanted Luffy's Devil Fruit and hid its true name.

Well Lili may have been in control up until she awakened the Imu Devil Fruit. But this theory still holds weight without lili being the one who ate the fruit, if not her it may be someone else who ate it. What i am sure if is Imu is definitely a devil spirit inhabiting someone else’s body.
