My gramps introduced me to black label back when I started living with him in 2010. We listened to the album that came out that year. Order of the Black. My grandfather and I used to ride dirtbikes he's pretty badass. Zakk Wylde and Dimebag are his favorite. My first concert I got to go with my grandfather and my best friend, my grandfathers bestfriends son BLS cames to Columbus back in 2014. This song reminds me of all that has changed in over the last 10 years. My grandfather lost his mom and his best friend of 30+ years. The damage is done but the experiences living on in our memories. I was 12 back then now I'll be turning 22.

My dad was the glue that held our family together. My dad passed away February 17th, 2019 it's been 11 months. I first heard Zakk Wilde's song the damage is done on February 16th, 2019 I was sitting next to my dad's bedside. And I was singing along to the song .this song helps me get through my pain. I had this song played at my dad's funeral I still cry like a baby everytime I hear this song. Thank you Zakk wylde for an AWESOME song. The Damage Is Done is my song to my dad.

I used to live in a small town upstate N.Y called Walton in Delaware county with my J.W mom( I got mommy issues).my mom had a rav 4 and we would drive from Walton to Oneonta to go to Aldi's n shit....and mom drove like a Hells Angel .."heavy foot" through them..anyway this album "vol 4" was ONLY album of mine that literally moved her....this song and "stepping stone",..
