Oh yes!!!!! I love this type of rock ballad. I'm a huge Avril Lavigne fan, and this is giving me the same vibes. Brilliant, bravo, excellent and any other adjective you can think of!

If anything, this is more in the spirit of Avril Lavigne than actually following her music. Not to talk down about Avril, as she's awesome, but there is a little more depth to this. Music has evolved and so has this song. This is just exactly what you want out of an up tempo rock song, it has a positive demeanor, a slightly dark and serious text and more than enough variety with a beautiful bridge and tempo shifts along the way to give it dimension. I was there when Avril broke out. I was a very llittle fellow and I certainly did attempt to sing to my stuffed animals or the TV while seeing the videoclips. It was an important part of my musical development. However, when I hear it now, it does not have the depth or production finish that IMY2 holds as their standard now. Nostalgia sure benefits the old stuff, but I can't deny the excellence of what my ears are hearing today.

You guys need a marketing team to get this to the movie studios (once they decide to pay writers and actors fairly and get back to work [time of posting]) -- this seems like a song that would open a really smart teen movie, like Easy A or Mean Girls or Plan B (a lesser-known one that I happen to think is great). Great song, love the bridge part in it. The video is actually really well done, shifting from the viewpoints and different A's to sing certain parts. If I can nitpick anything, its that I'm missing the boys, but I guess it doesn't easily fit in this video with this concept. We at least get to hear them.
