Thanks for the video. That’s the first time I’ve heard the comparison of nitrogen build up to a coke.

Thanks Nick, Yes that came from a few years back and is about as simplistic as you can make it for some folks.

I like to do safety stop at minus 5 meters not 3 meters. At 3 is just difficult when there are waves and bam you are at the surface. Nice when you can change that in your dive computer.

Touch'e Patrya, and in reality most dive computers will go into Safety Stop mode at about 19' of depth..

Hi Dave, Yes the Peregrine is a sweet dive computer. Easy to see and to operate.. there's a couple of new color versions recently announced too. Bob C

Maybe I’m being foolish but I don’t care. I truly want to learn how to dive on instruments alone. I just bought a depth gauge I’m going to put on my SPG hose. I’m sure I’ll never meet anyone using one.
@DiversSupplyYT Жыл бұрын
Ok Chris, Weather you believe it or not, "most" divers dive based solely on one thing, that's *How Much Air Do They Have* ... So having a SPG/Depth Gauge is a step in the right direction and even if you have a Air Integrated computer/ transmitter you still should have one. Also if you're diving just a gauge set-up then hopefully you have a dive watch to time your dive. An know how to use the bezel on the watch. Goin Ole School is cool as long as you understand and how to use the dive tables. As I always say, "there's only one butt connected to the BCD/Tank you're wearing, guess who it belongs too?" Have fun and Dive Safe ! Bob C
