"pegan believes" are not non sense. It's just the west can not understand. So it seems to them as nonsense. It's no different from the movie. It's the mindset.

I always thought this movie was tremendously overrated. Don't see what the appeal of it is, but normies really went crazy over this, and so did the media.

I think it's not the movie. But the underlying message. It hit a string that no one wanted to even accept that it exists.

@@shibashisdutta8042 It was a very popular movie. The media was slobbering all over it, and lots of people were going to see. There were even people getting depressed after watching it because they liked the alien planet so much and were disappointed that they couldn't stay there. They called it something or other withdrawal. But I find that when normies are really clamoring and going nuts over something it's because it's a low hanging fruit. The last time I saw a normie reaction like this was to the Independence Day movie with Will Smith, which I did watch, and found to be completely hollow and uninteresting.

@@shibashisdutta8042 hit a string? it barfed it into your face from the get-go and is rife with plotholes lol Let me take a guess at what you mean by 'no one want[s] to even accept' "Replacing "blue alien" with "colored guy" shows how incredibly backwards the movie is; see, only White people need things like written language and everyone else was happier before White man came along with his filthy civilization (protip: you're supposed to not know that sophisticated non-Western/Caucasian societies have ever existed or still exist today). Good thing the director's White self-insert is there to save the stupid primitive people by mastering their ancient traditions in a couple of months better than any of them could in their entire lives. One can even argue whether the movie is a xenophobic one, or an Identity Politics-laden shitfest romanticizing "noble savage" bullshit, considering the natives are incredibly powerful humanoids with instant neural communication across the planet"
