A form of time travel already exists. This world where most of the wealth appears to be controlled by a few people, while most of the working class are slaves by all but the narrowest of definitions. We find our selves is such a world because "they" made it this way. Why would the rich make a movie where time travel is used to uplift the working class?

not just different universe but timeline that can only be reached by going back in time and visit the exact split moment again but show states can't go back in time. if it's just different universe then technically going into future is a different universe too.

so silly what happened if client dies in plane crash... teleport in with a parachute or prevent them boarding plane in first place, which is the same as locking them up for 33 days but as they stated doesn't work.

They would just make them late for that day, missing their flight. Like unplugging their alarm, or give them a flat tire or block signal from their home. The alarm thing is how seth mcfarland was rescued.
