Hey all! Been goin' hard on this band the past few weeks. Was a big fan of Big Country back in the eighties, and this track in particular would likely be in my top 20 songs of all time. Never really thought about covering it before until this week.
Had to have a crack at that famous guitar tone the boys in Big Country put down on this one.

Good job. I remember stumbling onto that "bagpipe" tone while messing around with an Electric Mistress flanger in the '80's. Never bothered learn the entire song, just played the bagpipe parts over and over. 😆

Mann Big country has plenty of great songs! Behind this one my favourite is Take you to the moon & Chance, Chance is a great track.
