Hey guys, I'm going to tell you a story: I met this girl in the 90's at the CME in Chicago and took her home to my recently acquired farm in Peotone. I had like a 400 watt Onkio receiver that would be cranked up all the way playing Waiting For The Night... repeatedly. There is a certain sound quality of a cranked Stereo in an empty farm house.The girl would help me clean the place up and we would drink some coffee early and Bailey's later. The sun is shining the lace curtains dancing in the gentle breeze the music echoes... In a Daydream. Those summer weekends are my favorite memories. I blew up the receiver, and eventually sold the farm, but the girl never left. I now call Susan my wife. The moral of the story is that Freddy Jones band is a very real part of the soundtrack of our life. As a musician myself, I can't imagine anything more awesome than that. I remember. Also here in Sacramento on a radio station called the Point. It was alive only for a short while -one of those moments in time. It introduced me to many great songs an artists. It was like KFOG. I miss KFOG too!

Great addition to the many live tracks of this awesome song, it is my new favorite version now. Grew up in Austin, Tx in 70' & 80's then moved to New Orleans, La. Have seen maybe a few thousand live shows in my life, (I'm 62 now) Truly not hard to do when there's 50 shows a night, 7 days a week to pick from, plus touring acts! No regrets except seeing this band live! Thanks to youtube I get small taste of what I missed. Thanks so much Freddy Jones Band for digging down deep to share your energy and soul with us, we so needed it! We still need it. I live in Terlingua, Tx. now and have many days where I feel like this song. Light heart with blessing everywhere. Sun is shinning! (about 320 days ayear) no one around except me and the sky (15 min. from my rv plenty space to roam with out my fellow humans) Take the time to thank those you love and have loved, regardless of outcomes. Rock on, children

The sound in this clip is better than at least 2 live shows i saw at the House Of Blues here in LA in like '95-'97... they had some fucking deaf sound guy there for a cpl of years who was complete ASS at leat 2 FJB and a cpl of other shows there were mixed horribly.... but Long Live FJB!
