Mina Villegas Art it is gorgeous, my attempt gave a completely different result I used different colours and technique and I made sure to cover all my corners 😂💗🥰 My torch wasn’t working today so I used the heat gun 🙈 I ended up doing a pour on a pour after it pulled the black through the gold 😂 but I love the result, it is my favourite so far. Oh wowee! I have not used black paint in a pour/fluid art piece yet, imagine that! Only have used it in my other abstract paintings. . But it truly is time to explore this dark abyss of beauty. Hi Jacque! Thank you! Everyone has their favorite pouring medium for their own reasons lol I dont think its thicker than other channels that use the same products I do.. that being said, I do want to keep my rings and cells, and that works better with a thicker mix. Lately with my straight pours I have been mixing them a bit thinner than usual. Maybe it's the pouring medium with the polymers that's making it look thick to you? I'm always looking for 'warm honey drizzled off a stick' consistency..

@Vet Alverson.. as long as you compensate for wind and direct sun.. obviously you dont want a bunch of grass cuttings in your painting. I try to pour in the morning when it's cool or just before sundown. If I pour outside when it's very sunny my paint sets up on the edges before I even tilt and ruins the canvas. My advice would be to give it a test run, figure out all the things that go wrong and see if you can find a work around. I do take things inside a Tuffshed to dry, I dont leave anything out that has wet paint on it. Good luck!

You crack me up: cat hair, laughing at everything, finding your center...you are my long-lost twin! Fabulous painting!!! I'm curious about the satin enamel combined with the gloss medium/varnish. I have both, but I can't imagine the amounts of each: paint, medium, Floetrol. Smart to work outside; it's pretty stinkeriffic stuff. So sorry about your moment of weakness. ;) Completely understand. Could you salvage the majority of it and cut the funky part off?
