On August 24, 2024, a historic moment took place as over 1,300 devotees and well-wishers gathered in Tyngsborough, MA, for the groundbreaking ceremony of the new BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, marking a significant milestone for the Boston area. The sacred ceremony was led by Pujya Gnaneshwardas Swami, along with visiting swamis from India and Canada. The event featured a traditional Vedic ritual where bricks and sanctified rice, blessed by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, were placed into the foundation of the new mandir. This powerful act symbolizes the spiritual foundation that will guide the community for generations to come. The new mandir will accommodate the growing number of devotees and become a center for worship and community service. Volunteers from across New England and New Jersey came together to make this event memorable.
