I'd very much like to give my testimony of how God healed me from the spirit of lust. I had been struggling with it for many years and I was very eager to get rid of it but no matter how hard I tried, I always failed and fell into it again, I would have some success for a couple of months but relapsed soon enough, but this year I noticed how the temptations, I would have had so frequently, just stopped. I am just throwing this out there as what I would consider an accurate assumption. It probably has something to do more with the heresy that Jesus Culture/Bethel Church support. I am a follower of Christ and I can appreciate and highly enjoy some of their music but their teaching is far from biblical. With that being said most of their songs are catchy but still not biblical. I take the approach of eating the meat and spitting the bones. I am able to discern what is truth and what is not, by knowing the Word of God. With out getting into to much more detail that is my 2 cents.

I am able to discern also, and it is not wisdom knowledge or opinion from man. Purely, it is a manifestation of the Spirit of God. Dogmatic, doctrines of men, opinion over God who is a Spirit, and Jesus who is a man born with DNA from Mary and the Holy God, the fact He died is 100 0/0 proof he was all man. The fact he was resurrected from the dead 100 0/0 proof He is God...He wasn't the Son of God He is the Son of God. The opinion of man contradicts the revelation of Jesus Christ who they say they follow, really, He isn't in you to guide and direct you, and lead you to Truth? What does the man with opinion follow? I USED TO HAVE SUPER BAD ANXIETY. It was horrible. I had it for about 4 years. I would overthink things all the time, I was scared to raise my hand in class to answer a question because I was scared to be judged, I couldn't even talk to a girl one on one because I was so anxious! I wanted to be in theatre because I liked acting but I didn't want people to judge me in a bad way for getting into theatre and being some "weird theatre kid". I never went to church, I had never prayed or read the Bible before. Then one day in 2018, my friend invited me to a Bible study at our high school. I thought about it and decided to go and check it out. And on October 9, 2018, my LIFE was changed forever. I remember leaving the classroom so happy and excited to come back the next week. So I started to go to the Bible study every week and begin to learn about God. The true and living God of the Bible. I started to pray and read the Bible and see if God was truly real, and then over the summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night, the preacher said "if anyone's going through anything, I want you to come to the front and ask God to heal you" and I went to the front and I got down on my knees and I actually cried out to God for the first time and I said, "God, if you can actually heal me, please help me!”, and right after I said that, I heard the clear voice of God for the first time in my entire life and one of the only times I heard Him so clearly, and He spoke to me saying, "I've healed you from your anxiety right now, and it's not going to come back." And right after that happened the preacher said "If anyone got healed, I want you to come up onto the stage and tell everyone" and instantly I went up onto the stage and told about 900 people that Jesus had healed my anxiety! And ever since that day, my anxiety hasn’t come back, and I know it’s not going to. And He can do the same for you, no matter what you’re going through or struggling with, Jesus has authority over it and can heal you! Now here’s the thing: Me and you have sinned and broken every single one of the 10 commandments. We are not good people. And if you are not born again, you are on your way to facing the wrath of God and eternal torment! And I used to be in that place too! If you are not for Jesus, you are against Him which makes you an enemy to God. And there is nothing that you can do to earn forgiveness. Does that concern you? Well here’s the good news: God loved you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth, and Jesus lived a perfect life, He never sinned once, and then He died on the cross for you. He sacrificed His life for you, offering you the gift of salvation. And the Bible says in Romans 10:9-10 that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved. For it is with the heart one believes and is made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved". So you have to believe that God DID raise Jesus from the dead, and you make Jesus the Lord of your life, which is surrendering your life to Him, giving up your own desires to follow Jesus, and placing your faith and trust in Him alone. Now we are not saved by good works, but you should begin to read the Bible daily and pray frequently.
